UPDATE: THE PHOENIX PHOENIXES ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE GRAND OPENING OF BUTKO FINANCIAL FIELD WITH IT'S GIANT RETRACTABLE "MOONROOF." THE STADIUM HAS BEEN 3 YEARS IN THE MAKING AND WILL HOST THIS YEAR'S GOPHERBOWL.

After coming up one game short of the Gopher Bowl last year the Phoenixes have re-loaded for a title run with an excellent draft (graded A- by Mel Kiper Jr.) and the hiring of an offensive coordinator to take the play calling responsibilities away from the Cowboy.

Established in 2001 the Phoenixes are a charter member of the GMFL. They played that first season in Southern California as the San Diego Strappers before being lured to the Valley of the Sun for the 2002 season. Valley fans were slow to warm to the new team in town but after a promising 2003 campaign, the Phoenixes are the talk of the city.

Tara Reid is very excited to support the Phoenix Phoenixes in 2004 and will be the Grand Marshall at the opening day of Butko Financial Field.
